Imagine the scene from Too Fast Too Furious when the camera pans down to an alley between two buildings and it’s full of cars and people. Now add GR’s FINEST stunt crew, and you’ll have a pretty good idea of event that took place this weekend on the streets of Detroit. I was there this weekend and was able to get a few pictures of Shelby Moore and Joe Tobolic doing what they do best.
If you haven’t heard the name, then you probably have not witnessed what amazing skill Ayrton Senna had behind the wheel of any car. Of the 209 documented races he raced in, he won 90 of them, secured 139 podiums, 97 pole positions and 66 fastest laps. He basically won 40% of the time compared to Michael Schumacher with 32% or Tom Kristensen at 16%. He won almost every wet race he was in and won the World Drivers Championship 3 times. It is not very often you hear of Europeans enjoying the feel and drive of American cars but this “Uomo” begs to differ. With what sounds like a straight pipe with bon-fires shooting out of its pipes, this may be the most bad ass video of a ZR1 doing work at the full fledged world class circuit that is Monza. Check out Stavros Grillis, a 9 year old drifter from the island of Kos, Greece. He is the worlds youngest drifter to date, and currently drifts an E30 M3.
Here you have it in all its glory, the 2013 ALMS prepped SRT Viper. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, Chrysler adds this to the the Viper launch . Although specs aren’t official, the car was built alongside well known race car manufacturer Riley Technologies (Formerly Riley & Scott).
